Lasers measure the profile of the boards as
they pass under the Lucidyne Warp Bridge.
The boards are relaxed on the lug chain, and the
lack of rolls or skids allows any bow, crook, or twist to be measured.
In the sample display below, the leading corner of the board is
displayed by each laser in a different color. The surface profile of the leading edge and top
face are all that are needed to determine this board's warp - it is not necessary to also measure from
underneath the board!
The farthest right picture shows where the maximum bow and crook occur on the board.
The value for twist is always measured at the end of the board.
